The Othello grinder
Every grinder slows down. Residue builds up, grinding becomes rough and grinders become squeaky, and eventually you replace it.
We decided that wasn’t good enough.

Iedere foto na elkaar laten verschijnen, met een 0,5-1 sec ertussen. Dat bouwt de suspence van ah wat gaat er komen. Rangschikken van minst coole onderdeel tot de coolste. Zodat je opklimt naar het gaafste onderdeel > wordt men steeds meer verrast.

The origin
of the grinder's design
In 2023 Jarno went to Kruger National Park in South Africa. Before flying back to Cape Town, he stayed one day in Johannesburg. Where he accidentally got stuck in a dangerous neighborhood. After 30-some canceld Uber rides trying to get back to the airport, finally a man came to pick him up.
“What the fuck are you doing here?” he asked Jarno
Jarno replied: “I’m just a dumb tourist trying to see some of the city. But please take me back to the airport.”
“No… I am going to show you the real Johannesburg.”
And after touring through the city for 3 hours, the man took Jarno to a Turkish restaurant “because the baklava is amazing there”.
Jarno sat down and saw the salt and pepper mill on the table.
And he knew.
